The Pre- Conference day was a success!

On Tuesday, October 2nd , the Green Missions pre-conference day (kickoff for the Green Conference) was well attended by local as well international companies from Colombia, Costa Rica, Curacao, the Netherlands and the United States. During the breakfast briefing there were interesting presentations on Aruba’s economy, business opportunities and information about specific infrastructure projects.
After the presentations, the Aruba Marketplace was opened and the matchmaking sessions took place, where the participants had the opportunity to have a one- on- one conversations with various Aruban organizations and companies. There was a lot of enthusiasm for the showcase model for companies wishing to enter the Latin American market, using the incentives offered by the Free Zone.
Many companies were impressed by the opportunities Aruba has to offer and expressed their interest in using Aruba as a hub for the region. We’re already busy with follow-up, contacting the companies we spoke with, and look forward to new business partners.
Parallel to the Green Missions meeting TNO, the renowned Dutch research institute, had a series of lectures and participants of both events were able to network. Later that day, the Aruban Government and TNO did the groundbreaking for the Smart Community at Kibaima, and the great day ended with an excellent cocktail reception.
The pre-conference day was a great success and we looking forward to the next Green Missions.
We want to thank everyone for their great effort and support in organizing of the pre-conferences day. The Aruba Investment Agency (Arina), the Aruba Trade and Industry Association (ATIA), the Chamber of Commerce and Free Zone Aruba are your investment partners on Aruba.
