Last week (August 22 – 24) the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Aruba organized an incoming trade mission from Colombia which turned out to be very successful. The Colombian entrepreneurs who participated in the mission represented small and medium enterprises from different sectors.
Corry explaining the “Green Gateway”
By means of a presentation, Free Zone Aruba elaborated on the export possibilities that Aruba has to offer and how closely Free Zone Aruba (FZA) is linked with the macro-economic policy of the Government of Aruba: “The Green Gateway”. After the presentation, the entrepreneurs were very optimistic about the possibilities that the “Green Gateway “offers. The Q&A session varied from operational costs to the possibilities of using Aruba as a hub for the region, as well as the US and the EU.
Cámara de Comercio Colombo Centroamérica y de el Caribewas also represented during the trade mission. Mr. Camilo Acevedo Rojas spoke about Colombia as one of the biggest foreign investors in Central America, a result of twenty years of organizing trade missions.
Some of the participating businesses showed their serious intentions for further development of their export plans, making use of Aruba.
Thanks to the Colombian entrepreneurs for your interest in the possibilities the free zone has to offer. We wish you success in your further business endeavors.
