First bunkering in Oranjestad Harbor

Curoil (Aruba) Freezone NV realized its first bunkering at the Oranjestad harbor in Aruba. The cruise ship Monarch took the honor in receiving Curoil’s first bunkering service. In 3.5 hours the cruise ship received the requested amount of fuel. Curoil (Aruba) Freezone NV uses the vessel Zeta-1 to deliver ship-to-ship bunkering.
Curoil (Aruba) Freezone NV is the first company that offers bunkering services to national and international vessels in Aruba, with the exclusive right on both inshore and offshore bunkering services.
Since 1985 Curoil supplies fuel on the islands of Curacao and Bonaire to airports, utility companies, gas stations and vessels in the harbors and also offshore. The company supplies a full range of fuels and lubricants from its 6,854dwt double-hulled tanker Zeta 1. Curoil operates under international standards of Shell Airport Operations Procedures and under international ISO-Certified standards.
Curoil (Aruba) Freezone NV received the operations license to operate in the Aruba free zone on December 16, 2013.
