Dutch Prime Minister Rutte to visit Aruba with business delegation

Dutch Prime Minister Rutte will visit Aruba from July 13 till July 15, accompanied by a business delegation.
Different International businesses from the Netherlands will join the delegation. Companies from different sectors such as logistics, technology, education and tourism will visit Aruba. These companies include KLM, De Baak, TNO and Multipost.
During the mission these companies will have the opportunity to meet several Aruban companies. They will have a guided tour around Aruba to learn more about the island and the business opportunities.
This is Prime Minister Rutte’s first visit to Aruba since the Dutch elections last year. After visiting Aruba he will also travel to other Dutch Caribbean islands.
Since the successful ‘Europe Meets the Americas’ business conference many Dutch companies are showing interest to use Aruba as a gateway to Latin America.
Aruba is promoting itself as a gateway for the Americas. More than 700 participants showed their interest during the ‘Europe Meets the Americas’ business conference. Simon Smits, Director-General for Foreign Economic Relations of the Netherlands came with a business delegation from The Netherlands during the conference.
The visit of Prime Minister Rutte will be the second business delegation from the Netherlands in 2013.
